On Thursday, December 1, 2011 I went in to have a nerve block done. Dr Staacke blocked Lumbar 8-10 nerves. It wasn't bad at all. Like bee sting the little electrical shock that really felt good. Next day I was so ready to rock n roll that Victor had to slow me down. We did have to wait for 48 hours to make sure it didn't let loose & come back with a vengeance. Saturday came and went I was ready to go back to work. Victor took me for I didn't have time to get a bus pass.
Monday December 5, 2011 all of my co-workers gave me the most welcome back ever. I don't think I ever had so many people to stop by & either gave me warm wishes or big hugs. I really liked the hugs! It was so nice to see everyone so much!!! Got Mike, out IT, came & sat with me so patiently to get my system all back up & running. Then Char from help desk helped me reset my phone. Rest of day I went into all of our home pages for the updates. There was quite a few. From our August through November implementations.
Sue, our trainer was wonderful in taking it slow to make sure I learned everything. She not only took time to fill me in all new changes but filled me in on things I've forgotten. I also loved how she blew up pages for me to see better to get through new processes. I think I am more nervous that when I first came to work on the floor. Lori, My supervisor, had Jill sit with me & listen to calls while her pc was getting replaced. When Jill went back to her desk she told me how well I was doing & let me know it'll be just fine. I said I had to many jitter. She said she hate to use raid if I didn't get my bugs out & quit jittering. I am still Laughing Out Loud!
Our Lance, Lyssa, Nick & Liam came to stay with us for Christmas. This was the first Christmas in our home in Union Grove. I so missed our other children & grand children but hopefully will see them at New Years.
